Hello Yellow 2024 · 10 October 2024 ·

Campaign by Young Minds Trust (RCN 1016968)
Wear yellow this World Mental Health Day on 10th October and raise money to show young people that they’re not alone with their mental health. Because we stand brighter, together.

Story

This Hello Yellow, Myself, Dan and our 4 children will join thousands of individuals, schools and communities across the country to raise money and show young people that they're not alone with their mental health.

Right now, less than 1 in 3 young people with a mental health condition are getting access to NHS care and treatment. This isn’t good enough and things need to change.

We will be wearing yellow on World Mental Health Day (10 October), and venturing on a family 10k hike - For those that know our youngest two children and their dislike of walking, this will be no easy task!

Each one of our children have experienced anxiety, and the struggle is real. We want to encourage them to help and support other children and young adults who are affected and to show young people that they are not alone and that things can get better.

We will walk whilst wearing it loud, and wearing it proud.

Because we stand brighter, together.
