London Summer Walk 2025 · 23 August 2025 · Start fundraising for this event

At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you. Visit www.younglivesvscancer.org.uk

Story

In June 2024, I was diagnosed with a rare pancreatic tumour. I underwent major surgery in September 2024, which involved removing half of my pancreas, my spleen, and the tumour itself. I’m incredibly grateful for Dr Simon Atkinson at Cleveland Clinic & King’s College Hospital, and Nataleen Grant, for their care and ongoing support.

In the UK, around six young adults are diagnosed with cancer every day. To raise awareness, Katie, Elliott and I will be taking part in the 25km London Summer Charity Walk on the 23rd August 2025.

We’re fundraising for Young Lives vs Cancer, a charity that has provided incredible support throughout my journey. Every donation - no matter the size - will help young people and their families battling cancer. To find out more visit: www.younglivesvscancer.org.uk.

Thank you so much for your support.

Love Helen, Katie and Elliott💜

In memory of those we’ve lost, and in support of those still fighting.
