The Mental Health Foundation is the UKs charity for mental health, their aim is to find and address sources of mental health problems, so that people and communities can thrive.
We all need to adopt a ‘prevention first’ approach to managing mental health and wellbeing. The good news is that there is support, advice, and training out there to help us all do so, through the excellent work of the Foundation.
It's important to me that we break down the taboos surrounding mental health and I have been driving this forward at work, through the launch of a mental wellbeing network.
Turning to my own mental health, it's now time to put the preventative approach into action and raise money for a Foundation that has helped support our expanding network over the last year.
