Hello lovelies!

As you know, I am about to turn 50 (woohoo!), and for this big day, I want to mark the massive gift given to us in the past year by a charity called The Belay Foundation. They linked us with our gorgeous support worker, Jade, who has given our girl friendship, fun, laughter, and a bit of normality in a mad world. The Foundation was set up and is run on a shoestring by a fellow adopter who has transformed family lives across the country. They desperately need more funds to continue their amazing work so it would make me a happy birthday girl if you could donate a few pennies to them instead of a gift. Thank you!

The Belay Foundation is a charity that helps children recover from early trauma. The impact of early experiences of abuse, neglect and changes of caregivers can be profound and we support the people who influence their child’s recovery the most: their parents. The Belay Foundation offers practical support. We help put in place Specialist Support Workers who can offer therapeutic childcare. This offers much needed breaks and in-home support for parents. 

As a small and growing charity we are hugely grateful for all donations. We work as cost-effectively as possible and are largely run by volunteers. Your donation can help us: - Offer benefits advice to families - Increase the training we offer to Specialist Support Workers- Pay a Clinical Psychologist to offer advice on therapeutic care.
