Story

Team Aevitas - Miles for Minds Challenge

This July, we are stepping away from our desks and taking on a meaningful physical challenge together. On Saturday 25 July, the three of us, and Harry will be walking the first half of the 50km South West Ultra Challenge, a demanding 25km route along the south west coastal path starting at Dunster and finishing in Porlock, with around 600 metres of elevation along the way, it will certainly be a test of our endurance.

We are undertaking this challenge to raise funds for Dementia UK. This cause is particularly close to our hearts, as Helen’s dad was diagnosed with mixed Dementia 2 years ago.

The charity provides specialist support for families affected by dementia through their Admiral Nurses. Many of us have seen firsthand the impact dementia can have, and we’re proud to support an organisation that offers such vital care and guidance.

This won’t be an easy walk — the distance, terrain, and climbs will certainly test us, but knowing we’re doing it for an important cause will keep us moving forward.

If you’re able to support Team Aevitas – Miles for Minds, we would be incredibly grateful. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly to Dementia UK and help them continue their essential work.

Thank you in advance for your support — it truly means a great deal to us.
