This will be my last fundraising run

possibly ever!!!

I booked to run Paris Marathon as I feel I have unfinished business with marathons! It was going to be for me.... no fundraising as I feel I have asked so much of my friends and family this last few years. But I just can't let the opportunity pass by to raise money for this new UK charity started up in my hometown of Leamington.

This one massively pulls on my heart strings. I’m supporting a charity set up by parents of one of Emily’s class mates.

Their gorgeous daughter Phoebe has been born with a very rare and unknown illness TANGO2, she can become very poorly very quickly. She was diagnosed at age 6, which makes life slightly easier in knowing what to do when she is in crisis. She however now leads a different life to most other children of her age. This doesn't affect her being a lovely, smiley, happy girl.

There is very limited knowledge of the illness, diagnosis can often be delayed due to little awareness of the disease. There are only 14 children in the whole of the UK currently diagnosed with TANGO2. The UK charity has been set up to raise vital money to increase awareness, support families who are affected and to help find ways to treat people with the illness to make their lives as normal as possible. With enough funds they plan to start research too 🩷

My mission is to raise as much awareness and money as I can to help the charity. Every penny counts and we really appreciate your support 💗
