I’m delighted to be fundraising for a brilliant local charity Birkheads Wild - I have chosen Birkheads because they do brilliant important work with young people who need it - helping them to thrive build skills and confidence while valuing the outdoors and the environment.

In the past few years I have struggled with some health problems and thanks to the help of some amazing friends and professionals I have been able to find a new love of running for physical and mental health… then my nieces persuaded me to do the Great North Run so I just hope I make it to the finish line!
