Story
I am going to be 60 in January 2027 (I know, I only look 59). I also know that we can end up getting carried away spending money for these big birthdays so I would like to ask that friends and family don't buy me anything (especially anything new) for this birthday and instead give money to this fundraiser for Turner Syndrome Support Society - TSSS (UK). I am posting it ahead of time to mark the Turner Syndrome Awareness Day (21st June).
As most of you will know our fabulous daughter Heather has the lifelong health condition Turner Syndrome and as a family we have all received great support from the TSSS (UK) society which is run out of Clydebank in Scotland. Heather and I raised money for this organisation by doing the 20-mile Kiltwalk in 2025 and this time I hope to raise about the same again for TSSS (UK) so they can continue their great work.
The photo on this post is not me and Heather obviously - I went for our spirit TV characters instead.
