Story
The 2024 #TAL19 is a multi-terrain 19km run in and around Bude (Cornwall) and will take in some of Talan's favourite places.
I am taking part in this run for personal reasons, as the charity is raising money in memory of Talan, the son of our close friend Sarah Penny.
The aim is to raise awareness for childhood cancer. All the money raised will support research into Rhabdomyosarcoma (the disease that Talan had), at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London.
So if anyone is able to support with a donation, it would be really appreciated and will help motivate me on the day!

About the Charity:
Talan’s Trust was set up after Talan Penny, an 18-year-old Bude local who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS), a type of soft tissue sarcoma that grows in active muscles of the body, sadly passed away. The trust now carry out a number of awareness and fundraising campaigns in aid of those with the same condition.
