It's happening!!

My dream has finally come true!!

I have won a place in the 2025 London Marathon!!

I am absolutely honoured to say this year I will be donning my running shoes again and joining #TeamAshgate to take part in The London Marathon, The Great North Run and The Sparkle Walk all in aid of Ashgate Hospice

The Hospice cared for my beautiful Mother-in-law, My Megatron and my lovely friend Margaret, before they both sadly earned their angel wings. To be able to run the Marathon in their memory and raise funds for the Hospice at the same time, really is a privilege and I am humbled to have the opportunity

Sadly, Ashgate Hospice is a place that so many of us are all too familiar with, and has played a part in ours, or the lives of someone that we know and love. That is why I'm asking everyone to donate whatever they can to raise as much money as possible for this amazing charity.

Volunteering there, I get to witness first hand, the amazing work that the team do, every single pound really does make an enormous difference

For those who don't know, the Hospice provide specialist palliative care for people with life-limiting illnesses across North Derbyshire, they also provide support for the families of those they care for, and all of their services are available in the community, patients own homes, and in their 21-bed in-patient unit located in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
