Myself, my wife Helen, and Forester member Alan Mackinnon will be taking on the challenge to complete the Yorkshire 3-Peaks on Friday 25th September 2026. It's been 10 years since me and Helen completed the challenge in aid of Alzheimer's Research so this is really going to be challenging for us with being 10 years older! But we are determined to do it and Alan will be keeping us company and I'm sure he'll be telling us many tales along the way.

Each year the Society's President (me) nominates a charity of their choice for the Annual Charity Appeal, and this provides a national focus for the fundraising efforts of our members and complements the many local charities that our branches support. For 2026/2027 Foresters is proud to support Shelter.

Shelter helps millions of people every year struggling with unsafe housing or homelessness find safety and security through their housing advice, support, campaigning and legal services.
