Story
I have worked forJulia's House for over 9 years, and am blessed to see the difference that is made to the children in our care and their families, every single day. Compared to the challenges they must face in their life, this Wiltshire adventure should be a walk in the park, albeit a rather long one!
We are a team of nurses, carers, family support team members, and hospice staff preparing to walk, stride, hobble — and, by the end, possibly crawl — our way across 13 or 26 miles of the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, all in support of Julia’s House Children’s Hospice.
Between us, we bring over 30 years of experience working at Julia’s House. We have seen first-hand the extraordinary care, compassion, and vital support the hospice provides to seriously ill children and their families. Every step we take is for them — to help ensure this incredible service can continue to be there when it’s needed most.
Julia’s House provides frequent, flexible care for children with life-limited or life-threatening conditions to give their parents a much-needed break.
Amazingly, Julia’s House has to raise 93 per cent of the money it needs each year to run this vital service. Your kind sponsorship will make a life-changing difference to these families.
