Story
This isn’t just a bike ride; it’s a powerful journey of history, remembrance, and resilience. On 26 June 2026, I will be cycling from RBVE’s village in Aylesford, Kent to the solemn battlefields of Ypres, Belgium — the final resting place of thousands who sacrificed everything for our freedom. Our ride will culminate at the Menin Gate, where we will honor their memory by attending The Last Post ceremony.
I am proud to participate in the "Tommy Ride to Ypres 2026," an event that not only commemorates bravery but also supports a vital cause. The Royal British Veterans Enterprise (RBVE) is a charity dedicated to transforming the lives of veterans and their families. Many face life-changing injuries, PTSD, and long-term effects of service. RBVE provides homes, jobs, and essential support that empower these heroes to rebuild their lives with dignity.
Your support can make a real difference. Whether you give £1 or £1,500, every donation directly helps those who have given so much for us all. Join me in this mission — together we can honor their sacrifice by ensuring they receive the care and opportunities they deserve. Please donate today and help us reach our target of £1,500 to change lives through hope and action.
