Friends and supporters of Children and War UK are warmly invited to a very special evening reception and private view of Homelands, an exhibition of landscape paintings by Polish-born artist and art historian Lydia Bauman. Lydia will give a tour of her paintings and be available to meet and talk during a wine and canape reception.

Please come on Thursday 16 May 2024 from 5.30-7pm (tour starts at around 6.15) to The Street Gallery, University College Hospital, 235 Euston Road.

A donation of around £25 to Children and War UK is suggested. Lydia has also offered to donate 10% of the revenue from the first painting sold.

Lydia said: “As someone who was exiled from their own homeland as a child of 12, I am very pleased to support the wonderful work of Children and War UK. Vulnerable children need the help and hope that they bring.”

The exhibition is part of UCLH’s arts programme. Established in 2005, UCLH Arts and Heritage is committed to providing a welcoming, uplifting environment for patients, visitors and staff.
