Story
Dear Friends,
I’m raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity that means the world to me and my family.
In 2019, my wonderful Mam was diagnosed with Myeloma—a type of blood cancer that is treatable but not curable. Our family was devastated. In 2023, she underwent an intensive stem cell transplant and chemotherapy. During that time, she was hospitalised with sepsis. Walking through the cancer ward to visit her was one of the most frightening and heartbreaking experiences of my life. Seeing so many people in pain and suffering from this cruel disease shattered me.
That moment changed me. I knew I had to give something back. Macmillan Cancer Support helps people and families facing cancer every single day, and I want to raise as much as I can to support their incredible work.
Thank you for supporting my fundraising. Cancer diagnoses are rising, and every person affected deserves compassionate, personalized care. Macmillan is committed to doing whatever it takes to support people living with cancer now—and to transform care for those who will be diagnosed in the future.
To everyone who is battling, surviving, or grieving—your strength and courage are extraordinary.
This is for my Mam. You are our Wonder Woman. You face each day with grace and resilience, never complaining, always living life to the fullest. Keep fighting!! We are so lucky to have you, and we love you more than words can say.
Thank you for your donation. Your support means everything. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast, and secure. Your details are safe, and your gift goes directly to the charity.
With love and gratitude,
From
