Back in September 2020, my nephew George was born in with a lump on his lower back just above his bottom. Within a couple of weeks he was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Infantile Fibrosarcoma

Whilst George was in hospital, he had his line fitted for Chemotherapy and the lovely people at the Give A duck Foundation sent George a Chemo duck (who is fitted with medical lines and ports to mirror that of the child) and a huggable Hope for his siblings Freya and Arthur. These cuddly toys meant a lot to all 3 of the children, kept them close when George had his hospital stays and showed other using chemo duck how George was given his chemotherapy.

Thankfully at 3 year on George is now cancer free and just an amazing little human, but that doesn't mean we have stopped supporting the Give A duck Foundation.

These guys support families all over the UK, but they don't recieve any funding, they relay purely on donations.

This April they are celebrating Duck Day which runs from 2nd to 22nd of April.

On Saturday 13th April I will be supporting them, by hosting this coffee morning and raffle.
