Story
Music and education are two very important things to me.
I played in CSYO from the age of 15 until I left university at 21. The orchestra was vital to my development both as a young adult and as a musician and the time I spent in the orchestra were some of the best days of my childhood.
Now as a trustee of the Friends of CSYO I am delighted to be part of the team helping to ensure this wonderful orchestra thrives for many years to come, ensuring many more generations of young people continue to have access to top level classical music and ensemble training.
The orchestra, like so many arts organisations, is always looking for additional funds to subsidise the incredible opportunities on offer to its young people.
As my other love is running I have decided to embark on my toughest challenge yet...to run 26.2 miles and on April 27th I will be running Manchester Marathon.
If you feel you are able to donate to support the orchestra (and my very weary legs) then your support would really help to get me over the line!
