I am doing The Aberdeen Kiltwalk to support a charity in aid of sexually abused survivors. They do such important work and with the dedication of the staff, they help survivors to come to terms with the trauma experienced during this horrific time in their life. 1 in 4 women, and 1 in 7 men, are abused. Many survivors live silently for many years, before seeking help they desperately need. Anyone from the age of 13 onwards can receive help, including those victims of historical child abuse no matter how long ago it occurred.

With the support from Rape Crisis Grampian many survivors after years of struggling with the emotional and mental trauma can move on and live their lives.

To bring more awareness to this charity I will be drumming my way along the route🥁.
