I first came across the Hummingbird Centre through Aly at Bicester Bean Café and her amazing fundraising work. With two in three people expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, it’s something that affects all of us—either directly or through someone we love.

The Hummingbird Centre is a lifeline for those impacted by cancer. They provide:

Complimentary therapies to support mental wellbeing

Arts and crafts sessions for creativity and escape

Specialist children’s support, helping young people feel safe to express themselves during such difficult times

A drop-in space for a cuppa and a chat, where people can offload without guilt or fear of burdening loved ones

To help keep this incredible service going, I’m running the Great South Run in support of the Hummingbird Centre.
