Story
I’ll be embarking on a personal trek, walking solo along some of the toughest five stretches of the South West Coast Path, from Port Isaac to St Agnes in just five days. I aim to cover over 100 kilometres, facing an elevation equivalent to climbing Everest.
As someone who has never attempted a hike of this magnitude before, I am filled with both excitement and apprehension. The thought of blisters, sunburn, cliff edges, and the possibility of being drenched by rain is a worry. Yet, I believe that the sheer beauty of the path will inspire me to push through to the end.
My chosen charity is Protection Against Stalking (PAS), an organization that holds immense significance for both myself and my partner. Over the past year, PAS has been an incredible support and guiding light for us during challenging times. They provide vital services that can truly be a lifeline for victims of stalking and their families. I kindly ask you to consider donating whatever you can; every contribution means the world to us as I strive to reach my stretch target of £700 by September 14th, 2025. Additionally, if anyone has tips on blister protection or hiking advice, please do reach out! Thank you for your support—I’m already looking forward to celebrating with a pint at the finish line!
