Story
Hearing that you have breast cancer can be a devastating experience. The fear of the unknown, the loss of future plans, and the impact on one's sense of self can be overwhelming. For those who sit alongside a loved one receiving this news, it can feel equally disorienting. And when that loved one is a man, disbelief often sets in—men don’t get breast cancer... or do they? The truth is, they do, and they can survive if it’s caught early enough.
This is why I am fundraising for "Wear it Pink for Breast Cancer Now". It’s crucial that we all take proactive steps in our health journeys. I want to ensure that everyone—women and men alike—understands the importance of regular self-checks and awareness. Together, we can spread this vital message and empower each other to take action.
On October 24th, 2025, I will be participating in a local cake and coffee social as part of my personal challenge to raise funds for this important cause. My target is to raise £100 to support breast cancer awareness initiatives. Your support means so much! Please consider donating through my JustGiving page; it's simple, fast, and secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving—they will never sell them or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, your contribution goes directly to the charity, making it the most efficient way to help us fight against breast cancer together.
