Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page in memory of Nicky Simkin.

The late Nicola and her family would be grateful for any donations for the Critical Care Unit.

During the four weeks that Nicola spent in CCU the medical staff treated her with the upmost care, dignity, respect and more importantly love. They fought alongside us and prayed that she would pull through, but sadly this was not meant to be. We are left heartbroken but hopefully something positive can come out of this tragedy and we can raise lots of money to support the staff, patients and other families that sadly will encounter the heartbreak that we have.

The well-being of the staff on the CCU at Royal Stoke is particularly paramount to us, as they work tirelessly with commitment and professionalism and if we can add something to their daily lives and other families experiences then Nicky would be delighted.

Nicky would have been so grateful and gracious to the team on POD 4, if only she could have said thank you herself!
