I'm taking part in the London Landmarks half marathon to raise money for Barts Charity.

Than I was a child, I remember my grandma being diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma and was given a very short while to live. She was treated in Barts with chemotherapy (one of the first to receive it I believe) and she lived for another 20 years long enough to see me married and have my first child.

Running the LLHM and raising money is my way of saying thank you for giving me and my grandma all those extra years.

If resilience runs in the genes, then mine comes from her.
