Following an enjoyable day last year, I am riding again with 2 clear aims:

1. to raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities UK (chosen by fellow rider FGS) which provides such vital support to families when they are under enormous pressure and

2. to conquer Ditchling Beacon...

Ronald McDonald House Charities UK provides free ‘home away from home’ accommodation to families with children having treatment in hospital. This has been a great help to many, not least friends who had very premature twins and needed to be able to base themselves near a hospital far from home whilst the girls developed and grew until they were allowed home.

Our Houses offer much more than just a place to stay; they provide family activities, peer support, respite, and many other services. This means that families can be by their child’s bedside in a matter of moments, whilst maintaining a degree of normal life with reduced emotional and financial strain.

We help over 6,000 families each year and now, more than ever, we need your support. Thank you.
