On Saturday, 12th July 2025 I will be jumping out of a plane - a tandem skydive in Beccles. Those of you that know me will know that this is VERY much out of my comfort zone and a huge challenge for me. However, it is an opportunity for me to raise money for the Sue Lambert Trust charity.

The Sue Lambert Trust (SLT) provides support for individuals who have experience of sexual abuse, sexual assault or sexual violence at any time on their lives. The charity offers a wide range of support both practical and emotional. I have known about the SLT for many years prior to beginning work there as a volunteer counsellor in 2015. I also became involved as a co-facilitator of survivor groups from 2017. Over the years with the SLT I have felt privileged to witness so many people find the courage to reach out for support and find ways to manage differently their painful, and often unimaginable, experiences. I am often in awe when people overcome such difficult times and learning from these brave people is an absolute honour.
