Got brave and registered to raise some money!

I’ve decided to raise money for Dementia UK. A charity that offers support and care for those suffering as well as families .

Most of us will be affected in some way by Dementia. Stealing many people lasts years away from them, id like to make some kind of small difference to those lives.

I’ll be running for anyone affected, especially my grandad Ken , who in his later years suffered from the effects.

So I’ve decided to run the 2026 London Landmarks Half Marathon for Dementia UK!

Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses, provide life-changing care to families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer's disease. They help people with dementia stay independent for longer, and support the people caring for them so they have the strength to cope with the bad days, and the energy to enjoy the good days. They have the time to listen and the knowledge to solve problems, helping families take back control when they are struggling.
