Story

A beautiful, smart, kind, funny lady, and very dear friend of mine, Alina, lost a brave battle with glioblastoma (GBM) recently.

GBM is a particularly nasty brain tumour and has, as yet, no cure.

In memory of her and in support of her wonderful family, I am taking part in the Stockport Walk of Hope to raise funds for research to help find a cure for brain tumours.

If you could make a donation, however small, I would be enormously grateful!

I know it meant so much to Alina to carry on trying to find a way to fight this terrible disease.

One in three people know someone affected by a brain tumour.

So, if you want to take part in an event near you or even organise your own event please click the following link for more information on how to get involved…

Thank you so much for any help you can give. It is very much appreciated!

Big hugs

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
