Helen and Marie's Kilimanjaro Climb for HARROW MS THERAPY CENTRE

Marie McManamon is raising money for HARROW MS THERAPY CENTRE

Climbing Kilimanjaro · 27 January 2026

Since 1984, Harrow MS Therapy Centre has enabled hundreds of people with multiple sclerosis in Harrow and the wider north west London area to improve their quality of life. We offer a range of therapies, support, information and advice to manage MS and its symptoms.

Story

We are sisters , Helen and Marie McManamon and on 27th January we’ll be taking on something that feels truly once-in-a-lifetime: climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. It’s a huge challenge, made even bigger by the fact that we’ll be training right through Christmas and New Year (quite possibly the worst time to attempt any sort of discipline!). But what will keep us pushing forward, step after step, is knowing who we’re doing this for.

We’re raising money for the Harrow MS Therapy Centre, a place that means so much to us. MS (Multiple Sclerosis) is a chronic, life-altering disease that affects people we love. We’ve seen first-hand how the Centre provides not just therapy, but hope, strength, and a sense of community to those living with MS. Their work genuinely changes lives.

The Centre relies entirely on donations, and the support of kind, generous people is what keeps their doors open. If you’re able to, we would be so grateful for anything you can give. Every single contribution, no matter big or small, funds vital therapies like physiotherapy, hyperbaric oxygen treatment, and many other services that help people manage MS and live fuller, brighter lives.

If you’d like to learn more about the amazing work they do, please visit https://www.harrowmscentre.co.uk.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting us, for cheering us on, and for making a difference to so many wonderful people. Your kindness will carry us up that mountain. 🙏🏼
