Story
It will be 10 years gone when I attempt to trek the Great Wall of China. Well 50 kms of it . Fulfilling a promise I made to my late husband Adrian Rhys cook , Marie Curie and myself. Adrian worked as an ambulance technician (he nearly made paramedic getting his paramedic science degree in October 2014 ) in the Welsh ambulance service and later with Hart ( hazardous area response team ) emergency services Bridgend . He was diagnosed with metatastic melanoma in September 2014 and we lost him on 1 st feb 2015 aged just 44.
Now 10 years on Marie Curie were once again able to provide the necessary support and palliative care through their amazing doctors and nurses for my father Neil O Donovan who sadly passed away on January 6 th 2025 at his home .
We are very blessed to have holme towers hospice and the district nurses that work from there who support any patient with a terminal diagnosis . Please can I ask you support me and maybe support me again as I try to raise as much money as possible for such a great cause and fantastic charity that those who are unlucky enough to need them are lucky enough to have them.
Please can you share my post
Thanks so much
Marie Curie is a charity working across the UK and we need your support to do our vital work.
