Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

Helen Janette Kirkham died from a glioblastoma multiforme on 26th January 2025. The major passion in her life was music. Playing, singing and dancing to it. We are holding a charity ball in her memory during 'Brain Tumour Research Month in March 21st of 2026. If you would like to buy tickets, please visit - https://thanks4themusic.co.uk.

Hi Lester here, I'm not great at all this social media stuff, but I'll try to keep you abreast about what's going on . We have had many kind people donating prizes for raffle, tombola and auction for our Charity Ball Event on 26 March 2026. Mench to Emma Carlton of Sweet Patisserie North Shields. She has offered to cook for 6 in your home. Many more great prizes.

Janette's sister Kathy continues to raise money at her Maydown Farmshop. My 70th birthday party in Eglinton, Northern Ireland will also try to raise a wee bit of money for Janette's cause. That's all for now folks.
