I volunteer at Headway South Bucks, Bourne End, and we rely heavily on charitable donations to provide activities and trips out for our clients, all of whom have experienced a life changing event either through acquired brain injury or stroke.

Anything I can raise whilst completing my walk will give us opportunities to continue to fund activities at the centre such as cooking, art and music therapy, Physiotherapy, and seated Zumba, and away from the centre, activities such as theatre trips, meals out, garden centre trips and many others.

To give an idea of the costs, it costs between £50 - £80 to hire a local 'dial a ride' mini bus and up to £800 to hire an adapted coach suitable for both ambulatory clients and wheelchair users.
