This is a popular annual event organised and run by the Rotary Club of Congleton when individuals of a team swim lengths of an indoor pool in relay over a 55 minute period. All the funds raised by sponsorship is then split evenly between the selected Rotary charities for the event and the charity/organisation of the team's choice, Baddeley Green Hedgehog Rescue.

The girls, Faye, Emma & Charlotte together with their friends, Amelie, Lois, Tilly, Charley & Daniel have chosen to support the amazing Baddeley Green Hedgehog Rescue to help all the vulnerable hedgehogs who pass through their doors.

We have seen first hand how amazing this small but mighty rescue helps to rehabilate and release hedgehogs. Over the last 3 years we have had numerous hedgehogs occupy our garage, building up their strength ready to go back out into wild.

But the Rescue is so much more than this, from hand rearing hoglets, treating wounded and poorly hogs, the team work tirelessy to ensure they get the best possible care.
