Through my side hustle of being a Tropic Ambassador I have learnt more and more about the amazing work that United World schools carry out in some of the most remote areas of our planet. I sat and listened to a UWS speaker talk about having to walk over 2 hours a day to attend school and 2 hours back, I’ve heard about girls as young as 14 dropping their own children to a UWS supported nursery so they can go to school themselves. I’ve heard the difference that having a safe school building, with room for every child, classroom essentials such as books, desks and chairs, clean water access to bathrooms and health lessons can make.

The education that in the UK our children take for granted, even moan about is truly life changing for children born into these communities.
