Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Our wee Susie was due to go off to her new home along with her furbrother Midge, unfortunately Susie became very ill yesterday (28/06) and was rushed to our vet.

We then had to transfer her to the emergency over night vets (Vets Now) for care.

Susie is back at our vet this morning.

Yesterday they weren't sure how things would work out for her as she deteriorated so quickly.

Our vets are throwing everything at Susie, she has been placed on a IV for fluids and antibiotics. She has had bloodwork done to give us a better idea of what could be happening and she has now been placed on a nasal gastric tube to try get some nutrition into her. As you can imagine Susie is feeling pretty rubbish but is still managing a little tail wag when she sees her carers.

Although Susie is not out of the woods yet and another overnight stay at Vets Now is on the cards we are hopeful that she is starting to turn a corner and responding to her treatment.

As you can imagine and indeed may have had experience of yourself, these situations come at a cost ..... well in to 4 figures.

Susie would really appreciate it if anyone could help Mrs Murray's get together the funds to keep giving her the 5* treatment she needs to get her back home to her brother Midge who is missing her.
