Story
Hamdan Zakir is an 8-year-old boy, who has been bravely battling T-Lymphoblastic Lymphoma (T-LBL). Despite undergoing chemotherapy, his disease has relapsed and become refractory to conventional treatment.
According to his doctors at the Armed Forces Bone Marrow Transplant Centre (AFBMTC), Hamdan's best chance of survival now is an Allogenic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant (HSCT) - a complex medical procedure that will give him a fighting chance against this aggressive cancer.
The total cost of this life-saving treatment is approximately USD 20,000.
Time is critical for Hamdan. Without this transplant, his chances of survival diminish with each passing day. The transplant needs to be scheduled soon for the best possible outcome.
The doctors at AFBMTC have confirmed that with the proper treatment, Hamdan has a good chance of recovery and living a normal, healthy life. Let's come together to help make this possible.
