Dementia touches so many families, and the support Dementia UK provides through their specialist Admiral Nurses genuinely changes lives. Although OpenGI has chosen Dementia UK as our charity of the year, this fundraiser is something I’m taking on independently to help push our collective impact even further.

Last year I ran to raise funds for Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we smashed the £200 mark, which meant I kept my promise and ran the event dressed as the Mandalorian.

This year I’m raising the mark a little: if we hit £250, I’ll be taking on the run as Wolverine.
