My name is Daniela, and this is my daughter, Maria.

She was born with a rare neurological condition. From her very first breath, life was already harder for her than for most of us in a lifetime.

Maria can’t walk or use her hands properly. She needs help with everything. But she never complains. She just smiles. Always.

For 12 years, I’ve done everything I could. I’m her mother, her nurse, her therapist, her best friend. I haven’t rested, I haven’t stopped – because she depends on me for everything.

But now… I need your help.

Doctors in the UK offered us a real chance: therapy and treatment that could help Maria live with more independence, with less pain, and more dignity. But the cost is £20,000. And I need to raise it within a month.

I cry at night thinking: what if I can’t do it? What if she never gets this chance?
