Story

As we strive to make a difference in the world, we come across stories that touch our hearts and remind us of the struggles that many face. One such story is that of a young woman who has been fighting against all odds to make a better life for herself and her family. She comes from a family of farmers who are below the poverty line, where education is often seen as a luxury. Despite this, she managed to get into a private engineering college with the help of a scholarship provided by the state government. However, she had to work hard to keep up with her expenses and support her family. After graduating, she got admitted into the University of Maryland Baltimore County for MPS in Data Science, but unfortunately, her loan provider denied her loan at the last moment. To make matters worse, her father fell sick due to COVID-19 and now requires constant care. She lost all her savings when she fell victim to an online scammer who promised her work but ended up stealing everything from her. She is now left with no money for food or shelter and is struggling to provide for herself and her family. This is where we come in. We have launched Project M- Period Poverty to help women like her who are struggling to make ends meet due to circumstances beyond their control. Our goal is to raise $1,000 USD (INR 73,700) through this campaign so that we can provide them with basic necessities like food, shelter and menstrual hygiene products. We urge you to join us in this cause and help us make a difference in someone's life today.
