Story

Miles of Memories – Henbrook Marathon for Dementia UK

At Henbrook House Care Home, dementia touches the lives of so many of our residents, families, and staff. That's why we are proud to be raising money for Dementia UK, a charity that provides vital support, guidance, and specialist care to families affected by dementia.

To help make a difference, we are taking on our "Miles of Memories" Henbrook Marathon Challenge.

Together, staff, residents, and their families will be walking, jogging or running a minimum of 2 miles each, with some incredible participants taking on the full marathon distance of 26 miles!

Every step we take is in honour of those living with dementia and the loved ones who support them every day. Through this challenge, we hope to raise awareness, celebrate cherished memories, and help ensure that families facing dementia have access to the support they need.

As the saying goes:

"Dementia may change many things, but it cannot erase the love, laughter, and memories that live in our hearts."

We would be incredibly grateful for any donation, big or small. Your support will help Dementia UK continue its amazing work and make a real difference to families across the country.

Please donate if you can and help us turn our miles into meaningful support for those affected by dementia. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
