Running 20 miles, cycling 20 miles and swimming 3 km every month for three months

OCD Action's vision is of a society where Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is better understood and diagnosed quickly, where appropriate treatment options are open and accessible, where support and information are readily available and where nobody feels ashamed to ask for help.

Story

In October 2022, aged 9, Henry started to struggle with OCD. The world became an anxiety inducing place for him for a number of months, robbing him of simple childhood pleasures like playing freely outside or hugs with his siblings.

Throughout it all, however, he showed a lot of emotional maturity and bravery. It was no surprise, therefore, that after his CBT and ERP therapy started to help him recover he announced he wanted to raise £2023, to help children like him suffering with OCD.

The idea is his own. He will run 20 miles, cycle 20 miles and swim 3km, every month for three months from 1 June to 31 August, separate to all of his usual sporting activities. Please help him to reach his target.
