In February 2025, a great friend, Jane Fenwick ("Wattie" to some of her old friends) died of an aggressive brain tumour after a brave fight against what was initially diagnosed as a stroke.

If ankles, achilles, knees and hips allow, I will be running in the London Parks Half Marathon next weekend in memory of Jane. Any donations to this page will go towards a specific fund in the Royal Marsden researching Glioblastoma, the brain tumour that cost Jane her life.
