Story
Hi guys
This Sunday 3rd November Me , Evan cope and Hubert moseij will be running The Wimbledon common half marathon in aid of The Wynn Trust.
The Wynn Trust is a charitable organisation established to aid and support to boxers who have suffered from brain injuries. Our mission is to raise funds and awareness to help these individuals reclaim their quality of life and receive the necessary support and resources for rehabilitation and recovery. The Wynn Trust is named after our friend Charlie Wynn, a former boxer who tragically suffered a severe brain injury while sparring in preparation for a fight. Despite enduring numerous medical treatments and therapies over the past six years, Charlie is still unable to walk and requires extensive support for daily living activities. It is our goal to not only aid Charlie on his journey to recovery but to also extend our assistance to numerous others who are in similar situations. The funding available from the government for individuals with brain injuries is limited, and as a result, many are not receiving the comprehensive support needed to improve their quality of life. The Wynn Trust is dedicated to filling this critical gap by providing financial aid, rehabilitation services, and support programs that can significantly enhance the well-being of those affected. According to the guidelines provided by the United Kingdom Government on charitable purposes, The Wynn Trust aligns with the charitable purposes outlined. Our organisation focuses on the advancement of health and the relief of those in need by providing support, resources, and rehabilitation services for boxers suffering from brain injuries. By organising sponsored runs, boxing dinner shows, and auctions featuring memorabilia from famous boxing supporters, we aim to raise funds that contribute directly to the well-being and rehabilitation of these individuals.
Any donations towards the charity will be highly appreciated
