Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
On 19th September, I’m taking on a bike ride to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. This charity is incredibly important to me and my family.
My sister was born with a heart condition, so I’ve witnessed firsthand the profound impact it can have on those living with it and their loved ones. I’ve also seen the incredible work the British Heart Foundation does to support people affected by heart and circulatory conditions and fund vital research into new treatments and cures.
While the BHF has successfully halved the number of deaths from heart and circulatory disease in the UK, sadly hundreds of people still lose their lives daily. There’s still much more to be done.
That’s why I’ve decided to challenge myself and complete this bike ride to raise as much as possible. Every donation, no matter how small, will support the BHF’s life-saving research and work. In fact, £24 could fund two hours of research by an early-career scientist.
If you’re able to donate, I would be incredibly grateful. Your support will help me reach my target and, more importantly, enable the British Heart Foundation to continue its vital work towards a future where heart disease no longer devastates so many families.
Thank you for your support!
