Annabelle's Challenge is an incredible charity dedicated to supporting people with vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (vascular EDS) - a rare, life-threatening connective tissue disorder that makes arteries, organs, and tissues dangerously fragile. The charity not only provides support to individuals living with vEDS but also offers vital help, guidance, and a sense of community for their families too.
At Henwood Court, this cause is especially close to our hearts through our own Lynette Coffey, whose husband and both children were diagnosed with vascular EDS in 2024. Lynette says:

We can never express the importance of the support they offer, both in the early days of diagnosis and now as we, as a family, learn to live with this condition that will forever impact our lives. We are so thankful too for the support of the team at Henwood Court in fundraising to ensure that this wonderful charity can continue to support others impacted by vascular EDS, as well as providing funding for vital research that could help our family in the future.”
To show our support and help others affected by this condition, our team has come together to walk, run, or cycle a combined 10,000 miles as part of the Henwood Mission 10,000 - virtually mapping our way from our office in the West Midlands to Beijing, raising funds and awareness for this amazing charity along the way.
Every donation will help fund vital support services and research for families like Lynette’s and so many others.
