Heresy Raffle

Fundraising to supply Abi Cooling Cots across the United Kingdom, to bereavement suites, neonatal units, funeral directors and hospices.

Story

The Raffle is now over - thank you to all who donated and congratulations to David Marriott for winning!

Abigail’s Footsteps is a UK baby’s loss charity that we had the unfortunate experience of benefiting from in 2020 when our first child, Jackson, was stillborn. As with so many charities they provide help that you aren’t aware is available or even needed until the worst moment or even sometime after. The most Invaluable to us was the provision of a cooling cot at the hospital, this increases the amount of time families can spend with their babies, this not only gave Emma and myself precious extra hours with Jackson but meant that our families could come and hold him. On top of that they provide free counselling sessions, bereavement training for healthcare professionals and more.

For my latest fundraising attempt for Abigail’s I wanted to reach out to the Warhammer Community as I have seen their generosity in action but I wanted to provide an opportunity for something cool. Lacking any real hobby talent I reached out to a few people to see if they would like to take part, so now we have 18 fantastic hobbyists each providing a legionnaire to make a display of the Heresy Legions - and I think it’s worked pretty damn well.

I want to thank all the artists for all their time and effort, without them this project wouldn’t have even started.
