This year, our family lost my wonderful nan to pancreatic cancer. During her final days, St Luke’s provided incredible support and care, helping my mum look after her at home so she could spend her last moments comfortable, safe and surrounded by the people she loved most. Their kindness, compassion, and support meant so much to all of us during such a difficult time.

I am taking part in the St Luke’s Midnight Walk in loving memory of my nan, and also my grandad, who we sadly also lost to cancer in 2024. Cancer has affected our family deeply, and this walk is my way of honouring them both while helping St Luke’s continue the amazing work they do for other families facing heartbreak like ours.
