I am running the 2025 Chicago Marathon for Against Breast Cancer. Their ultimate goal is to create a vaccine against the disease. Your money will go towards funding researchers for the vaccine as well as other breakthroughs in cancer research. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women, 1 in 8 will be diagnosed. Treatment has significantly improved the outcomes and lives of those diagnosed, but there is always more to be done!

This will be my first ever marathon - and maybe last, we'll see, and I couldn't do it for a better cause!

I have many reasons for running this marathon. I studied oncology at univeristy, and wrote my dissertation of Breast Cancer. Helping those diagnosed is a passion of mine, whether it be through fundraising, volunteering, or working. I hope one day my job will directly impact those whose lives are changed by a cancer diagnosis, but at the moment I am doing what I can for the cause through fundraising.
