This year, we want to make Wear It Pink even more meaningful. In May, we lost our dear colleague, Helen Francis, our PR Executive, after a two-year battle with breast cancer. We’re asking all staff at Hever Castle and Hever Castle Golf Club to wear something pink on October 18th, and we’ll be holding a cake sale with all proceeds going to Breast Cancer Now.

Breast Cancer Now’s Wear It Pink Day is one of the UK’s biggest fundraising events. Held every October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, thousands of people across the country wear pink to fund life-changing breast cancer research and support.

Last year, we raised an incredible £247, but this year, we’re aiming higher.
