This High Holy Days, Crouch End Chavurah is raising money for SNS, formerly known as Solutions Not Sides.

SNS is an education charity working with young people across the UK to help them navigate the Israeli-Palestinian conflict with empathy, critical thinking and a commitment to non-violence.

Through their school sessions and Youth Leadership programmes, led by trained facilitators alongside Israeli and Palestinian speakers, they create safe and thoughtful spaces for students to hear human stories, ask difficult questions, challenge prejudice and move beyond simplistic or polarised narratives.

At a time when conflict abroad is having a real impact on young people and communities here in the UK, their work equips students with the skills to listen, disagree well, recognise hatred in all its forms, and see the humanity of people on all sides.

Demand for the organisation’s work has grown significantly, as more schools seek support in helping young people engage thoughtfully and empathetically with Israel–Palestine. Funds raised will help the team respond to this demand while keeping the programme accessible to schools, particularly those with limited budgets.
