Story
On the 27th September, SUDC UK will host a very special event where bereaved parents and carers will come together as one and take on the challenge of climbing the Helvellyn peak in the Lake District.
Back in 2022 SUDC UK hosted an incredibly special event where bereaved mothers took on the challenge of climbing Mount Snowdon in Wales. This ignited a growing passion to keep hiking! I took on the big one last year and summited Kilimanjaro…and it’s time to get my boots on again and hike with an awesome & courageous team of sudc uk parents…
“Being a bereaved parent is like climbing a mountain every day… but I find hiking helps my mental health, keeps me focused in that one moment whilst hiking up to the stars ⭐ for Harry and all our beautiful Sudc Uk children.”
Sudc UK is dedicated to increasing awareness of Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood, supporting families and funding crucial research. Our vision is for SUDC to be predictable and preventable in the future.
SUDC UK is one of the most under-recognised medical tragedies of our time. If you could help with a small donation that would be amazing.
Thank you
